Brittany

 

Brittany is a magic region for several reasons.

First, its wild coastline offers many footpaths that are perfect for exploration and that offers breath-taking views over the see. The beaches have wide areas of sand and turquoise waters. Its forests are dense and wide.

Brittany also offers many beautiful medieval villages with houses made out of stone walls and cobbled streets. Among them, we can mention Dinan or Rochefort-en-Terre. Saint-Malo is a beautiful port with a fascinating history of pirates and smugglers.

Brittany is also home for  many castles and megalithic sites that will enchant history lovers. Each place always has a story mixing history and legend.

Breton culture is also very present with its festive traditions testifying from a Celtic heritage whose local population is fiercely proud about.

 

The gastronomy is also very typical. Among them, the Crêpes and the seafood are probably the most appreciated by the visitors.
